Thank you for you article; I got of new insights and you really delivered a well rounded presentation of him.

Though I have to argue on one key matter.

It is clear that Thomas Aquinas was an exceptional scholar and a contemplative. And, I like to think that Saints are not, at least not often, nominated easily.

By reading about Thomas and knowing something about contemplative insights, I can not help but to start thinking that this philosopher also had major realizations to the nature of existence of things and phenomena.

Thus, I would argue that interpreting that Thomas Aquinas saying “the man of one book” simply relates to a individual focusing and mastering a “craft”, might just be too narrow minded.

If we take a wider look at different ontological view positions and give credit to the context him being whom he is, it becomes evident that he is referring to individuals, maybe possessing great strength in their craft, however who are essentially limited in their World view and thus are in a great danger creating significant havoc. A good example of this would be Mao and the great destruction that his cultural revolution created.

So, I would not say Mr Musk is there yet. He is mastering a craft and being true to who he is, but I wouldn’t go so far to evaluate how frozen his understanding of things and phenomena is. Since it might be very fluid.

Yours sincerely, Henri Yoki
